Shipping
We ship internationally. We will do our best
to keep all costs at a minimum and
will gladly combine different items to save you on shipping.
All our prices include packaging unless this is very bulky
and requires special crating.
We have shipped ceramics, glass and other fragile objects
worldwide for years and pride ourselves on extra-careful packaging
using bubblewrap, styrofoam chips and double boxing to ensure
that your treasures arrive undamaged.
Purchasers must pay the appropriate postal/shipping costs.
Insurance is available.
Items up to 20kgs are sent via the post system, over
this limit we use Fedex. We usually ship within 2-4 working
days after funds have been cleared. German banks require at
least 15 working days for out of country checks to clear,
from date of deposit.
Customs
Shipments to countries outside the European Community may
be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees,
which are collected at the destination. The recipient pays
these fees. We report the amount paid honestly on the customs
forms.
If an item arrives damaged: please make sure to fill the claim
in the span of 3 days after arrival at your post ofice Please
keep all packing materials for your claim, This policy is
firm so please take extra care in examining your item right
away when you receive it. It is your responsability to examine
items upon receipt. Damage needs to be reported to us within
24 hours of receipt.
Returns
Because of the distances involved, we only permit returns
under circumstances. All our objects are sold "as is".
We do our utmost to accurately and honestly describe the condition
of each object. All our items have been used, so slight glaze
crazing and wear may be possible. Plese remember that most
items on this site are close to 70-100 years old.
We disclose these conditions in our product description. It
is your responsibility as purchaser to carefully read the
object descriptions and inspect the photos. If you are unsure,
you can request a close up of the affected area.
When you place your order, you confirm that you have carefully
read the product description and are aware of the conditions
disclosed there. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with
your purchase, please contact us and we can discuss it.
